Most clubs would have struggled trying to find decent sections out of such a flat piece of land. great 4 wobblers!

This is always going to be a problem for the double 5 club.

Every year we ride at Ridley and know that its going to be much similar to the previous trial, but that's not a bad thing. It does manage to give us 1 or 2 tricky sections but! Unfortunately they are mostly bastard tight rooty bash your ankle ones, which does peeve off most of the inters and experts.

Few casualties on the day, Donna Seager managed to bash her leg and was last seen leg in the air lying in the back of her van. Gary the cripple or Raspberry as i call him wacked his foot and is still hoberling to this day, im sure its just an old reocuring shrapnel wound from WW2.

I was strugerling all day and was not to impressed by the lack of space to get over some of the roots, with the lack of grip and slippery roots at dangerous angles I was mostly riding up to marshals and just asking for fives. Mr Routs was a no go most riders didn't even bother to ride it. Other then that it was an ok trial.

The Mote brothers were riding well which makes a change, they were well and truly wooping my arse which was most frustrating, im gonna have to give up them 20 pints the night before me thinks!

The middle box blew its self apart 3 sections from the end so I just gave up and went back to the van feeling sorry for myself. Well after the day I had I was in no mood, first thing round Garys I managed to reverse the van down a 3 foot hole and damage the back end of the van, then GR had to tow me out.

Hope my boss don't read this I told him I did it Monday morning on Wimbledon common…oooopps!

Thanks to Stuart for welding the aforementioned box cheers mate. Stuarts the one who I think well and truly beat all you novices and ended up on zilch so it wont be long before he's riding blues.

Don't want to buy a scorpa do ya Stu?

1 careful owner been well looked after. Just don't read any of my write-ups. I always end up doing a damage report and its normally pretty BAD!!

Na that scorpas fine plenty of life left in it,

Just not on this planet.

Come on September!!!!!

Thanks to all the double 5 and the Marshals

Anyway im outa here see you at the next event where Cliffs going to write a report we can all understand!

See ya. Chow.
