The Dunlop, well what can I say! One of the best pieces of land in the southeast and one of the hardest early in the year when the weather has done its damage. Having ridden here five times and only completing it twice I decided to give it a miss and take pictures instead and I got most of the victims oops sorry I mean riders on camera.

But only from sections 12-15. Because of the vast area of about 3 miles round making it impossible for spectators to see every section I stayed put at the last group and had almost every rider recorded on film. The first riders through were Cooper man and Ben 125 Wibberley who fived most of the sections due to them being impossible, but they did get easier as the day went on.

Section 12 for the whites was up an impossible bank well that's what I thought until I see Mr Morphet av a go, he managed to find a new route even though throttle happy Ed had managed to ride the whites as it was laid and jumped the bank for a 2, not bad.

Getting back to Mr Morph he dropped round the bank flicked the back round and cleaned it, WOW. Then the rest followed, but what about the no stop rule, it seems that's gone out the window to. Depending on the marshal of course.

The blues had quite a tricky ride with most of them loosing marks on the slippery banks, that includes our Gazza and Cliff 'ive lost a few marks' Barnett. The next section was well tricky for the experts and quite dangerous for the first few riders that went through. Dave Shave even gave it the miss and said I aint doing that mate. It was up round a tree then launch yourself towards Mars. Possible in the dry maybe if you had the balls to do it or just plain mad like Jamie and Nicky who were the first few experts through and both just managed to keep there ends down and not end up face in the dirt off the near vertical bank. Clerk of the course obviously don't care much about safety and I hope he had an ambulance on standby. We do this for fun mate and I don't wish to see anyone going away on a stretcher or even in a bodybag. Even after they had done the impossible they then had to go flat out to get to the top of the hill and boy did a few riders mess it up big style, and one of them was Mr Morphet who got to the top then flipped the bike with it landing down on top of him.

Both the Ely boys Richard and Kevin were having a good go and looked like they were riding well and screaming the nuts off the gassers as they do best. As for the other 2 sections they were tame compared to the first two in that group and most of the riders managed a smile, either cleaning them or managing to make the end cards.

Well im sorry if this write-ups crap but I couldn't be bothered to walk the 4 mile course round, I had already walked about 6 miles trying to find section 10, which was tame and then told by the clerk of the course that the decent photo opportunity would be at 13, so that's where I went. And boy was he right, cheers mate. Looked like everyone was well and truly knackered by the end and so you should be,

you've just been Dunloped!!!

See you all at the walkers cup on Sunday 1st of Feb.
