Wow it was Bloody hot today

Thought it was about time I wrote something about one of Folkestone MCC trials having not written anything about their trials before. Stowting wood is situated off J11 on the M20 then you follow the winding lanes for about 2 miles So it is well and truly tucked right out of the way in the middle of deepest darkest kent. Having only ridden here when it has absolutely chucked it down by the heaven full I was relieved to see the sun shinning when I got up only problem was everyone was leaving for the coast, even at eight in the morning it was feeling very hot and the traffic on the Dartford Bridge was unbelievable having to que for 35 minutes just to get through the tolls making me late and just making the start at 10.30

This event was mainly for the fourstroke boys being a Championship round for 4/stroke A&Bs so the going was pretty easy,to easy in fact for the Inters the route was so easy I was dropping silly marks everywhere and that's when it most annoys you.. I DID drop just 6 marks but for some unknown reason the Results said I had lost 8,section three was where I had a silly one but the marshal gave me a three can't work that one out!Gary had the same problem as well being given a five on section7 which he didn't realise he had got,,must have been for going the wrong way that's the only thing I can think of or it might have had something to do with me paying off the marshal…

The old man on his montesa seemed to be enjoying himself but the old wrists were starting to hurt by the last lap and he was struggling to keep hold of the bike,he don't do bad for 65, I feel like he does now and I'm only 33.Stan Metcalf and Bernard Rodemark where having a better ride than the trial before,,,hmm ''Erith'' and seemed to be enjoying the event,Bernard won his class that day so well done to him..It was also good to see Andy out on his Tri-Greeves I am still trying to convince him into buying a modern bike which I think he would do really well on as he is a brilliant rider, But I would miss the sound of that Triumph engine roaring through the sections.Richard was out on his AJ and won his class by 2 marks from Andy,,so well done goes to Mr Whitebread Yet again!!! I beat Gary yet again ''yawn'' to win the inters class

Thanks to all who observed and to the Folkestone club for a great Trial..thankyou
