Sunday 14th September the frank marsh trial only
26 entries in the program and 14 on the day what a abysmal turn out
from the Se nktc 'where was everyone'. Never mind the riders that
did make it enjoyed the day with twenty sections and 5 or 6 new sections
made a brilliant day and with the sun shinning what could be better,
YOUR LOSS if you didn't make it!!!
When we was laying out the sections the few days
before the event we were slightly worried that maybe some of the sections
were going to be a little tough for some of the blues, so if you did
struggle a little I apologise and you can get your own back when your
clerk of the course at one of your trials. Also I think a few struggled
with there fitness being that we don't have many trials now with 20
sections and the long streams and rocks do take it out of you so the
marks at the results was going to be a little higher above the average,
well that my excuse and im sticking to it! I see Roy on the last lap
at his car and he was taking a long rest and loads of fluid before
attempting the long rocky stream on section twenty for the last time
which I think most riders enjoyed with various comments like where
did you find that 'blinding section'.
The isle of wight boys made it up in there blue
ex gas van which broke down when they drove up to Dougies training
day a few months ago, but luckily it got them to burwash just in time
for the start having been let down by a late running ferry. Will West
scorpa mounted only lost 19 on the blue route thrashing Chris Stays
brother James by 30 marks and Lee Hayden on the whites lost 38 which
would have got him second place to Richard Ely who lost 18. It was
heard Richard found it all to easy on the day but we are not catering
for just one rider, next year we will lay out a special 'kill the
Ely`s route' just to please them! Only joking boys I don't want to
kill all the Ely`s

Lee brocklehurst had a mare and ended up on 78 whats
that all about i thought you was the man lee, if you rode more often
and stopped hopping about like a demented kangaroo on heat your scores
might come down a bit. Got to conserve your energy mate don't know
whether you have noticed but we are all getting to old for this s***
but who am I am to talk I cant even ride the bloody blues… I would
like to thank all the riders for there support and hope you all had
a good day and hopefully see you all next year and also a big thanks
to all the marshals who came out without all of you there would have
been no trial. Thanks to my gofer main man Gary Roberts and his elf's
'Roger Carter-Lou Roberts-Dick Dickinson-Dick Castleton-the old man-and
anyone else I have forgotten.
Im now down the body armour shop getting prepared
for the Wickhams Harvest Trial on Sunday, hopefully the Ely Clan are
gonna put in some of those fantastic schoolboy championship sections.
B-route that is.. see you all there CHOW
