Having just eaten my way through 1 large turkey and drunk half a dozen crates of larger over Christmas it was good to get back to a normally fantastic trial the Windlesham cup on the following Sunday.

I say! 'Normally fantastic' very loosely!. It was Crap!!!

Well i dont ever receive a bloody trophy from this club anyway!

For years I have always done this trial being very keen to burn off the excess of Christmas and the fact of it being on a blinding piece of ground like hungry hill you can't really go wrong, can you!

This year the club seemed to have laid out a wobbler trial for all classes with main road sections which were far to easy, lets say that if you laid the section out on the fast lane of the M25 zig zagging through the white lines that would have been harder and far more interesting!! I found riders on some sections fast asleep on the floor where they had got halfway round the section and just fell off with boredom snoring away like an express train it couldn't have been any easier…

I lost zilch all day and so did Gary, even cliff lost nothing on the first lap but we know that don't last long with two fives on section two. What a Muppet!! By my last lap and most riders just starting there 2nd other riders were surprised to find out that 1 we was still on clean and 2 we had been riding the sections in all the wrong gears just for a laugh, just trying out fifth which never gets used only on flat out straights between sections and coasting downhill in neutral whilst tying one hand behind our backs and also blindfolded.

Ben if you lost any marks I will make sure you don't live it down boy..that goes for both of the Bens.

The old geriatric Dave I can bend like a pipe cleaner Plumb was out on some old reck doing what he does best 'making up the numbers' in the easy class as he doesn't seem to be winning much nowadays. OUCH!!

For some reason there was a complete lack of route markers between sections only these silly little red pointers that didn`t seem to point anywhere but no where. i heard about a dozen or so riders went home thinking there was only 9 sections so thats gonna peeve them off when they see the results. lets say theres gonna be less riders next year if anyone has any sense and i will be going else where myself next year.

You don't need to worry about the results for this one as everyone was on bloody clean and if you wasn't then hang your head in shame you losers. only joking gazza told me to write that!!

see you at the Sheffield indoor next saturday where dougie iz gonna woop all your sorry arses!

Have a great new years im signing off for now and see you in the new year..
