Bexleyheath & District Motorcycle Club Ltd (Est 1925) run trials introductory days at various venues in Kent, to open up the sport of trials to newcomers. All ages from 12+, and all members of the family, male and female, are welcome.
Learn to ride a trials bike under close supervision by experienced riders in controlled sections designed for beginners. Never ridden a bike before? No problem! We will teach you the basics to get you going and riding the sections before you know it!
You must have an ACU licence in order to ride. You can purchase your own annual licence from the ACU or we can supply an ACU day licence for an additional fee.
We offer a maximum of 3 rides on the club bike, giving you the opportunity to see if the sport of trials is really for you before deciding to purchase your own bike and gear (which we are sure you will do - once the trials bug takes hold it's hard to shake off!). We will give you all the advice you need about purchasing a bike and clothing.
After your 3 introductory rides you can bring your own bike and ride the sections for the day for an extra 6 days (no time limit to when these days are booked). Our experienced riders will still be there to answer any questions you have.
Then.....it's time for club trials! You will be joined, if you wish, by one of our riders for your first club trial, as it can be a bit daunting learning the ropes, but you will find there are plenty of good people at any event who will help you on your way. After this, the world is your oyster!
Please note:
ALL RIDERS MUST BOOK WITH THE CLUB! Please do not just turn up to ride as you will be disappointed should our bikes already be booked. Wear comfortable clothing which you wouldn't mind getting a bit muddy (jeans are fine!). We can provide the helmet, boots and gloves, plus the bike, however, if you have your own clothing please feel free to bring it.
Still not sure whether this is for you? Why not come down and watch some riding at a club trial? Everyone is welcome! Dates to be confirmed in the events section on the home page.
For more information please phone the number in one of the 'Trials Intro Day post's' or message us. One of us will get back to you as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Please note, whilst every effort is made to keep people safe, motorsports can be dangerous. You are encouraged to use common sense to keep yourself and others safe, and respect all those around you - we are all here to have fun and enjoy the sport of trials riding.
